Legal advice and counsel were provided to an engineering design firm involved in works under the road projects of Warsaw Airport–Lesznowola Expressway S7 (Mazowieckie Province) and Podborze–Śniadowo Expressway S61 (Mazowieckie/Podlaskie Province) after the project owner had withdrawn from the general contractor contract; this engagement covered an analysis of the withdrawal’s validity and of the circumstances and legal position of the designer and a risk assessment and a strategy for next steps; the total worth of these construction projects is ca. PLN 700 m.
