On December 6, 2021, the consortium of contractors Aldesa Construcciones Polska sp.z o.o., Aldesa Construcciones S.A., Coalvi S.A. and China Civil Engineering Contruction Corporation signed a public procurement contract with PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., the subject of which will be works on the railway line No. 38 on the Ełk – Korsze section, including electrification. Stage I.

Everything that happened later in this tender could be described in a suspenseful script for a good TV series. The finale of this “series” turned out to be a success that was the culmination of hard work and commitment of a large group of people. The signed contract concerns the reconstruction of a fragment of the railway line No. 38 on the Ełk – Giżycko section with a total length of approximately 50 km.
