Hoogells Oleksiewicz is proud to announce that since April of this year it has been acting as legal advisor in the ongoing legal support of the investment related to the construction of the new headquarters of Frontex – the European Border and Coast Guard Agency – in Warsaw. Hoogells Oleksiewicz will provide comprehensive legal assistance at every stage of the project. The firm was selected through a tender procedure as Frontex’s legal advisor and engaged in this prestigious undertaking at the key stage immediately preceding the signing of the contract with the general contractor.
The project foresees the development, starting in 2026, of an impressive, sustainable office building with a floor area of approximately 70,000 m², located at 136 Racławicka Street in Warsaw’s Mokotów district. The building – seven above-ground storeys and two underground levels – will accommodate more than 2,000 Agency employees and will feature innovative ecological solutions: low-emission concrete, photovoltaic panels, geothermal heating and cooling, and a rainwater recovery system. The project also includes preserving and enhancing greenery, creating a garden for employees and a park open to the local community. The investment, aspiring to the BREEAM standard, is scheduled to be ready for use by the end of 2028.
We are confident that the long-standing experience of Hoogells Oleksiewicz in advising on infrastructure projects, both during implementation and in dispute resolution, guarantees Frontex the highest level of legal support – both in the period preceding the conclusion of the contract with the general contractor and throughout the project’s execution. It is an honour for us to be part of one of the most significant EU-level projects in Poland.
