Jordan Zafirow

Jordan is the head of Hoogells' dispute resolution practice. For over 20 years, his professional path has been closely connected to representing Clients in court and arbitration proceedings- mainly business entities in contract fulfillment disputes, as well as corporate disputes and tort claims. For nearly 15 years, Jordan has specialized in handling multi-threaded and complex disputes regarding the implementation of contracts with particular emphasis on investment projects (including construction contracts based on FIDIC conditions), as well as disputes regarding currency option contracts, financial instruments and tort liabilities. He represents and supports Clients from procuring parties (mainly from the public sector) as well as contractors.
Jordan provides services for infrastructure projects, supporting Clients in, among others, the pre-trial phase, ensuring the proper maintenance of contract documentation and management of claims. His professional experience also includes preparation of due diligence legal analyses, including pre-privatisation audits of State Treasury companies. He publishes commentaries and articles on construction contracts and
consortium members' settlement rules (especially in public procurement contracts), as well as currency option contracts (so-called "zero-cost strategies"). Since 2019, Jordan has received individual recommendations in every Legal500 annual ranking, which demonstrates his renown and appreciation of his professional approach among Clients from the construction sector. He has been a member of the Warsaw Bar Association since 2006.
