Marcin Dziewierski

Marcin renders legal services to construction companies involved in the implementation of public investments. In the course of his 5-year professional practice, he has handled disputes regarding remuneration adjustment demands (extraordinary increase of construction works costs due to COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine), the need to perform additional or alternative works, quality of workmanship, direct payment demands, claims under contractual penalties, and contract withdrawals. Many of the cases were rooted in the specificity of FIDIC form contracts.
Marcin assists Clients implementing infrastructural projects (roads, railway lines, power grids and installations) as well as building construction projects (warehouses, industrial facilities, heat and power plants). He honed his professional skills at one of the most reputable law firms where he provided legal assistance at the stage of contractual consulting and in court proceedings.
He wrote his highly praised MA thesis entitled “Payment Guarantees in Construction Works Contracts” under the supervision of Prof. M. Kaliński. In 2021/2022 he served as VP of the Civil Law Students’ Club at Warsaw University. He has published a scientific paper entitled “Entities Entitled to File Decree Applications under Art. 7.1 of the Warsaw Decree. The Owner’s Possession of Land” in VIII Zeszyty Cywilistyczne KNPC Lege Artis. Marcin also represented Hoogells Oleksiewicz sp. k. as a speaker during the 3rd Asphalt Days Forum organized by the Polish Road Congress.
