Marita Pełszyk

Senior associate at Hoogells, advocate at the Warsaw Bar Association. She specializes in commercial law, securities law, M&A transactions, and corporate governance.
Marita has over 10 years of experience gained at reputed Polish law firms and as an inhouse lawyer for one of the largest accounts receivable management companies in Poland. She provides legal advice to financial institutions, including a brokerage house and an investment fund, as well as to Polish and foreign entrepreneurs operating in real estate, energy, telecommunications, and transport, to mention but a few.
She participates in and coordinates company reorganising processes, advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, and assists in drafting legal reports (feasibility study, due diligence) and transactional documentation (PSPA, SPA, SHA); she provides advice in highly complex project fundraising (project finance, corporate finance) and in the issuance of debt securities.
Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Marita also participated the “Company Academy” postgraduate programme at Warsaw School of Economics, and the British Law School organized jointly by Warsaw University, Cambridge University, and Juris Angliae Scientia. On completion of the Bar Vocational Course in Warsaw, she was called to the bar in 2018.
