Marcin Stępień

Marcin specializes in handling multifaceted disputes before common courts, arbitration courts (both home and abroad, including the ICC), and post award arbitral tribunals (e.g. motions for reversal of an arbitral award), often in precedent-setting cases. He has vast experience in providing Clients with expert legal advice and representation in all aspects of construction projects involving roads (including expressways), railway infrastructure, power infrastructure (including offshore wind farms), buildings, consortium settlements, as well as bank and insurance guarantees.

In the course of his legal practice, Marcin has advised and represented general contractors, subcontractors, investors, and contract engineers.

He has provided his services both in the capacity of an inhouse lawyer, as head of the legal department and as a representative of third-party law firms.

His private and public sector Clients particularly appreciate his negotiation skills and proactive approach to problem solving, which frequently end in out-of-court settlements.
