Marita Pełszyk

Specializes in commercial law, securities law, M&A transactions, and corporate governance issues.

 

Boasts a decade of professional expertise gained in Polish law firms, as well as having worked as in-house lawyer for one of Poland’s leading debt management companies. Has provided legal advice to financial institutions, including brokerage houses and investment funds, as well as to domestic and international entrepreneurs across sectors such as real estate, energy, telecommunications, transport and beyond.

 

Actively participated in and supervised corporate restructuring, provided counsel on merger and acquisition transactions, including preparation of legal reports (feasibility studies, due diligence), and transactional documentation (PSPA, SPA, SHA). Additionally, has advised on intricate transaction financing mechanisms (project finance, corporate finance), and both public and private debt securities issuances across Polish, Romanian, and Swedish markets.

 

A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, with postgraduate studies “Academy of Companies” at the Warsaw School of Economics, and the British Law Centre organised by the University of Warsaw, the University of Cambridge, and Juris Angliae Scientia. Completed legal training in Warsaw, and in 2018 was entered into the register of attorneys-at-law in the Warsaw Bar Association.
